Seitmemetov Rustem Abduramanovich, born March 28, 1973. Resident of Bakhchisarai in Crimea. Citizen of Ukraine and the Russian Federation. He has a higher pedagogical education, worked as a builder. Rustem is married and has two young children.
On charges of membership in the banned organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami, which, even according to the investigation, did not participate in violent actions, was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime penal colony with the first 3 years and 6 months to be served in prison and to restriction of freedom for 1 year upon release under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation") and Part 1 of Article 30 in conjunction with Article 278 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power").
In custody since March 11, 2020.
