Ruslan Ametovich Mesutov, born September 11, 1965. Resident of the village of Maly Mayak, Alushta district, Crimea. Citizen of Ukraine and the Russian Federation. Has secondary education. Married. Has a minor child. Under Part 1 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organising activities of a terrorist organisation") and Part 1 of Article 30, Article 278 ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power"), he was sentenced to 18 years of imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony with restriction of freedom for 1 year and 6 months after release.
In custody since June 10, 2019.
